IMPORTANT CARD CREATION RULES
BP-HR (Ballpark Home Runs) Must Be Whole Numbers
CRITICAL RULE: BP-HR values must ALWAYS be whole numbers (integers), never decimals.
Examples:
- ✓ Correct:
bp_homerun: 0,bp_homerun: 1,bp_homerun: 2,bp_homerun: 3 - ✗ Wrong:
bp_homerun: 0.55,bp_homerun: 1.5,bp_homerun: 2.3
Why: BP-HR represents ballpark-specific home run chances and must be discrete values for game mechanics.
HBP (Hit By Pitch) Must Be Whole Numbers
CRITICAL RULE: HBP values must ALWAYS be whole numbers (integers), never decimals.
Examples:
- ✓ Correct:
hbp: 0,hbp: 1,hbp: 2 - ✗ Wrong:
hbp: 0.70,hbp: 1.5,hbp: 0.75
Why: HBP represents discrete events and must be whole numbers for game mechanics.
When Creating Custom Cards
- After calculating ratings, manually set BP-HR and HBP to whole numbers
- Redistribute any fractional values to other result types (typically singles)
- Rebalance to maintain 108.0 total chances
